Kawasaki Js440 Jet Ski !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1977 Kawasaki JS440 Jet Ski. This Jet ski was included for free with another jet ski I bought a few months ago and was intended to be pre-owned for parts. After a few hours, a few parts, and a few hundred dollars, I was able to get it registered, running, and ready to go. I took it out on the water and it ran great for about 30 mins then died on me. I took it home and checked everything out and noticed that the headgasket was leaking water very slowly into the engine which is what caused it to stop running eventually. After letting it sit for a few weeks while I thought about what I wanted to do with it the starter solenoid also froze up on me (this means you cant use the starter button to start it at the moment). If someone were to replace the head gasket (maybe machine the head also), clean/lube the starter solenoid, and epoxy a couple small pinhole leaks in the exhaust and fuel tank i'm confident that this ski will be a runner (or you could always just use it for parts). The ski is 100% complete and overall in pretty excellent condition considering its age. Right now it will fire up in my garage if you jumper the starter but obviousely you will need to perform the above mentioned work and show it a little love before it can be trusted in the water. My hope is that someone will finish what I started which is why I am selling it for so cheap even though I have a good amount of money and time invested in it. I'v thought about finishing the work myself but I have so many other projects going on I just dont feel like messing with it anymore when I already have 2 other skis and this 1 is just taking up space. You can pretty much buy anything you need for this ski on ebay. Currently registered, pink slip in hand.
